About ME

I’m Nichola. I’m an Australian artist living in Seoul, South Korea.

In 2012 my husband and I started a blog called ‘My Korean Husband’ where I started making comics about our life. As we are an international couple and we have an intercultural marriage there was a lot to explore through blog posts, comics and videos. We moved to South Korea in 2014.

While living in the Korean countryside I started a comic series called ‘Nicholalala’ and I became a featured artist on LINE WEBTOON. This series is a mix of reality and fantasy and explores elements of Korean folklore.

As well as making comics, I also paint landscapes and create other art.

I have a book of comics published in Korea for the Korean audience.

Since life is so busy being a mum right now, there isn’t much going on with this site. But there will be sometime later.
